We are a small to medium sized school with a strong focus on outdoor learning and using our local environment. We strive for nothing but the very best for our pupils with happiness and opportunity at the forefront of all we do.
Our recent Ofsted visit shows that pupils enjoy attending our friendly, welcoming school. They are polite and respectful to
one another. They are enthusiastic about their learning. This is because teachers make the lessons interesting; you really want to learn.

Headteacher's Welcome
I am extremely proud to be Headteacher at Broughton CE Primary School and Nursery. Our school is an exciting place where children learn and grow. The pupils, staff and Governors are all extremely passionate about our school and we strive to ensure that Broughton provides a happy, caring and safe environment where we focus on the development and well-being of the whole child.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a wonderful local community who help us to nurture and challenge our children, so they can develop and achieve their full potential in an environment that is intertwined with our Christian values.
We provide an extensive range of extra-curricular activities throughout the year including Art & Craft, STEM, Multi-Skills, Football, Choir, Dance, Netball, etc. In addition, we also offer a Breakfast and After School Club from 7.30am until 6pm.
We understand that deciding the right school for your child is an important and often difficult decision. We believe the best way to understand and appreciate what Broughton has to offer is to come and visit our wonderful school. We would be delighted to show you around.
