School Uniform and Clothing
Our aim is to set a standard of dress and appearance which is appropriate and acceptable for school.
We hope that parents will support us by sending pupils in the correct uniform and help us to maintain high standards.
Our School uniform policy is:-
• A navy school sweatshirt or sweatshirt cardigan
• Navy skirt, pinafore or trousers (shorts in summer)
• White shirt or polo shirt
• Pale blue check dress / skirt, blouse (summer)
• Black shoes
• Navy or white socks or tights
• Summer footwear must be practical and safe and reflect the uniform policy
Jeans, leggings, tracksuits, football shirts and trainers are NOT part of our uniform.
A PE kit is also required. This should be in school at all times and follows the colour scheme for the uniform, i.e. navy shorts and plain white shirt. We do not encourage the children to wear soccer strips for PE lessons. Swimming kit is also required for Key Stage 2 children: girls should wear a one piece costume.
Please make sure that all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name.
The wearing of any jewellery is discouraged and items such as wristwatches and earrings MUST be removed prior to participating in any aspect of PE. Please note that members of staff will not be held responsible for looking after items of jewellery belonging to pupils.
